Module 1: The Legal Framework for Teleworking in Cyprus
- Application of the Cyprus Teleworking Law;
- Distinguishing teleworking, hybrid working and occasional work from home;
- Voluntary teleworking arrangements and exceptional circumstances;
- Information that must be provided to the employee;
- Equal treatment of teleworkers;
- The right to disconnect;
- Relationship between the employment contract, teleworking policy and internal procedures; and
- Principal areas of employer liability and legal risk.
Module 2: Advanced Drafting of Teleworking Policies
- Scope and application of the policy;
- Eligibility criteria and excluded positions;
- Employee request and employer approval procedures;
- Approved working location, days and hours;
- Attendance, availability, working time and performance expectations;
- Right to disconnect and out-of-hours communications;
- Equipment, technical support and work-related expenses;
