She studied law at the University of Athens, Greece and then acquired a Masters degree (LLM) in Company, Insurance and Shipping law at the King’s College, London University.
Electra is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association with more than 30 years of experience. She was a partner at the law firm of George L. Savvides & Co for 12 years. Thereafter she joined the law firm of Andreas Neocleous & Co until she opened her own practice. She was the Managing Partner of George Pamboridis LLC and was heading the firm’s non-contentious department from 2009 until March 2020.
Electra has extensive experience in several areas of law. Indicatively, not exhaustively she has experience in the general regulatory environment in Cyprus, in major infrastructure projects, in complex commercial transactions such as joint ventures and M&As, having advised and assisted both multinational and domestic clients in all stages, including negotiations and drafting agreements, like share purchase, subscription and shareholders agreements and supporting instruments as well as conducting legal due diligence and drafting relevant reports, public and private procurement, having advised and assisted entities from both the public sector and the private sector engaged in a number of industries, including ports and energy sector, public private partnership projects, capital markets, secured and unsecured credit arrangements, including fixed term loans, bridge finance facilities, letters of credit, trade financing, project financing, acquisitions financing and loan restructuring, having acted for arranging banks, lenders, credit institution, sponsors and borrowers across a wide range of industries and having drafted all transaction documents, employment law matters, shipping law and real estate law, administration, receivership, examinership, liquidations enforcement of securities in and out of liquidation.
