COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to equip entrepreneurs and small business owners with crucial legal knowledge specific to the Cypriot legal environment.

While lawyers are essential advisors for navigating legal matters, there are several compelling reasons why entrepreneurs and small business owners should have a solid understanding of legal issues.

Understanding the legal intricacies is crucial for protecting assets, avoiding litigation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The curriculum covers the Cyprus legal system, types of business entities, company law, contracts, financing options, employment law, and intellectual property rights.

Understanding the legal framework is crucial for establishing a robust foundation for any business venture. Entrepreneurs, managers, executives and business development professionals (professionals) often face a steep learning curve when setting up a business, with myriad considerations ranging from employee contracts and tax returns to marketing strategies. However, one critical aspect that often gets overlooked is the importance of a solid legal framework.

Entrepreneurs embody the spirit of risk-taking, investing their ideas, values, and finances into ventures with only a slim chance of success. But for those who succeed, the rewards can be substantial, not only in financial terms but also in gaining recognition and influence. The allure of entrepreneurship often paints a picture of wealth, fame, and power, attracting many to this high-stakes profession. Yet, beneath the surface of this glamorous depiction lies a reality filled with hard work and extensive legal complexities. Managing the vast amount of paperwork—particularly the legal documents and compliance requirements—is a daunting but essential part of maintaining a business’s integrity and viability.

Why register for this course?
