Ms. Maria Thrasivoulou is a Advocate-Legal Advisor with over 30 years experience. Maria recieved her law degree from the Aristoteleio University of Thessalonikis and has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 1991. Maria specializes in family law cases, including divorce, maintenance, custody, separation of assets, adoption and paternity cases. Maria also handles banking cases and cases for municipalities and public authorities. From 2011-2021 she worked as the head of the family law department of a notable law firm in Nicosia.
Ms Thrasivoulou has been an active member of her community for many years, acting as a member of many associations and charitable groups. Maria, was a councillor for Nicosia from 1991 to 2004. From 1996-2000 she acted as the president of the legal council for the Water board of Nicosia. From 2008 to 2011 she acted as the vice president for the Association for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis.
Today, Maria is the Vice President of the Association of Association for the Prevention of Road Accidents, the president of Association of Expatriates and Friends of Finiou. Maria also serves as a member of the Family Law Council for the Cyprus Bar Association andn is a member of the Nicosia Bar Association.
